Think of One

sb13004_CoverThe idea behind this album was to record in a way that captures the spontaneity and importance of communication within an acoustic jazz trio.
“Think of One” brings together three generations of jazz musicians, with John Patitucci and Albert Tootie Heath appearing together on record for the first time.
The trio got together on a hot September day in Brooklyn and recorded the songs featured on the album: all songs are first takes and thus accent the in-the-moment experience that makes jazz music so special for musicians and listeners alike.
